Dormeyer® open frame magnetic latching solenoids are designed to save you energy, money and space. When power is applied and the plunger reaches its energized position, the open frame solenoid plunger will maintain that position without using any power until a negative pulse is applied to allow
the plunger to unlatch. The reverse voltage is dependent on the load
attached to the open frame solenoid plunger and must be well below the
energizing value. Magnetic latching open frame solenoids resolve a major problem of continuous duty solenoids - heat generation. See our C-8, C-26, C-34 and B-22 open frame solenoids that are also available in Mag-latch versions.
