A new line of tubular solenoids offers both quiet operation and reliability in the most demanding applications. The new tubular solenoid is available in diameters of 1/2 to 1 inch in both push and pull models, forces to 20 lbs. and stroke lengths to 0.75 inches.
Featuring a new construction technique, the STA® Series of tubular solenoid utilize a low- friction nylon bobbin design that assures quiet operation and a life to up to 25 million cycles. The metal-to-plastic bearing surface of the tubular solenoid eliminates the problems associated with powdered metal flaking in conventional tubular solenoids.
Specifications for the STA® series of tubular solenoid include:
Operation: Push/pull engagement; well-suited to lock/latch operations
Size: 9 sizes from 1/2" to 1 3/4" diameter and 1" to 4 3/4" long
